If you did not apply for a Medical Marijuana Dispensary license in Denver prior to March 1, 2010, your business did not "grandfather" through. This means: A) No sales until you receive the actual license. Any sales you make are illegal because you lack local approval. B) You have to be 1,000 feet from schools, daycares, and other MMCs.

Please be aware that the City of Denver has just increased their speeding fines. Of particular note is the fact that they tripled the fines for 0-5 mph over the speed limit. This means that police officers will now start regularly stopping people who are traveling 0-5 mph over the speed limit. This will result in a huge increase in police/citizen contact. This will result in an increase in the number of drug possession, DUI, and DUID cases.

Please note that the Colorado Department of Revenue is emphasizing the fact that your OPCO facility MUST handle the medical marijuana from seed to packaged product. All in one facility.
