If you own a Medical Marijuana Center in Lakewood, please be aware of potential issues. Long of the short of it, the Lakewood City Ordinance currently requires you to be a "caregiver" to legally exchange marijuana. They have stated that this is the only way to legally exchange marijuana. 1284 requires you to be a Medical Marijuana Center to legally distribute marijuana for profit. A patient can't name you as both their MMC and their "caregiver." 1284 caps the number of patients a "caregiver" may help to 5. Under 1284 a "caregiver" is only suppose to charge for their "care giving" services. The problems and potential conflicts go on and on and on. Stay tuned. |
